Downloading Torrents
The
following instructions will lead you through the process of searching
for your favorite torrents and downloading them to your computer using
the MP3Rocket software.
- Double-click the
icon on your desktop to start the MP3Rocket software (if it is
not already running)
- Click the Torrents
tab at the top of the program
- Under the Torrents tab you'll see a category list on the left side of the program. By default, the program will display the Top 200 torrents in the download window. To view torrents in other categories, simply click the category in the list. You can also expand the drop-down menus below each category and sort torrents by sub-genre
- When you find a torrent you wish to download, click the
download arrow next to the torrent
- Your browser will open to the download location for the torrent. This will launch a small window which will allow you to open the torrent with your MP3 Rocket program. Click the Open button on the window and the torrent will open in MP3 Rocket and begin downloading
- Once the torrent has downloaded, click the My Downloads
tab to display your download library. In your download library, you'll notice that a folder has been created for the torrent you downloaded. Click the folder containing your torrent download, then click the Play button to open the folder containing your torrent
- Inside of the torrent folder you'll find the file(s) for the torrent you downloaded. To run the file(s) double-click on the desired file(s)

- Torrents with higher Votes come from larger swarms and may download faster
- Larger torrents, such as movies or software programs, may take longer to download
- Click the More link next to the torrent for more options for aquiring the content
- Under the Site column, the Site refers to the location where the torrent is hosted
Now that you have successfully downloaded your first torrent, we suggest
you refer to the Playing -> Music or Playing -> Movies
section of the member site where you will find instructions on how
to watch movies or listen to music you download with your favorite media player,
such as Windows Media Player, MusicMatch or iTunes.
