APPLIE iPOD MP3 PLAYER

The easiest way to transfer music to your iPod is using iTunes.

  1. Connect your iPod to your computer using the FireWire or USB cable.
  2. Notice that iTunes opens automatically and transfers all the songs and playlists in your music library to your iPod. The icon representing your iPod in the Source list flashes red during the update. Do not disconnect your iPod while music is being transferred.
  3. After the transfer is complete, safely disconnect your iPod by selecting your iPod in the Source list, and then clicking the Eject button in the lower-right corner of the iTunes window.

CREATIVE NOMAD JUKEBOX MP3 PLAYER

To transfer music from your Shared Folder to your NOMAD player using Creative MediaSource:

  1. Click PC MUSIC LIBRARY in the Source Window. Locate your songs by selecting the relevant genre, artist, album or playlist. Select the songs you want to transfer to your NOMAD Jukebox 3.
  2. Click the NOMAD JUKEBOX 3 button in the transfer window. If the transfer window is not already extended, click the Transfer icon located at the bottom left of the Creative MediaSource organizer.
  3. When you are ready to transfer, just click the lower Transfer button (arrow pointing from left to right). Alternatively, you can drag and drop the songs over.
  4. The Now transferring window will then pop up, showing the transfer progress for each song. If you want to stop further transfer, just select the songs and hit delete. This operation is only applicable to songs that have not been transferred to the NOMAD Jukebox yet.

After the transfer, disconnect your NOMAD player from your computer.

The instructions below indicate how to transfer music to your Dell Digital Jukebox using the MusicMatch software provided with the player. For transfer instructions using the DJ Explorer, refer to the user guide linked below.

  1. Connect the Dell DJ to your computer using the included USB cable.
  2. Start MusicMatch by clicking Start > All Programs > MusicMatch > MusicMatch Jukebox. The MusicMatch main window appears.
  3. Click View > Portable Device Manager.
  4. With the Portable Device Manager (PDM) open, you can transfer tracks or playlists in a drag-and-drop or copy-and-paste operation from your computer's MusicMatch Jukebox playlists onto the DJ.
  5. To drag-and-drop, locate and click the track or playlist that you want to copy, then drag it to the Dell Digital Jukebox or one of its playlists.
  6. To copy-and-paste, locate and right-click the track or playlist that you want to copy, then click Copy. Right-click on Dell Digital Jukebox or one of its playlists, then click Paste.

The Gateway MP3 Photo Jukebox was designed to be used with Windows Media Player, so you will use this to manage your library and transfer your music downloads to your player.

  1. Open Windows Media Player.
  2. Click the Sync tab.

  5. Connected will appear on your jukebox display, and the Device Setup dialog box will appear on your computer

  1. Launch the Motorola Digital Music Center.
  2. Click My Music in the left frame to access tracks. Motorola Digital Music Center scans the computer’s hard drives for digital audio files that are compatible with the m250/m500 player. Files are automatically categorized by album title and displayed in the Track List.
  3. You can select tracks within a specific category: Albums, Artists, Genres, Songs, and Playlists. For example, if you wish to copy all tracks by a favorite artist onto the player, click the Artists tab and then use any of the techniques in Step 4 to select the desired tracks.
  4. Use any of the following techniques to select tracks:
    • Single track, album or artist - LEFT-CLICK the track, album or artist
    • Multiple tracks, albums and/or artists - press SHIFT+CLICK or CTRL+CLICK
    • All tracks, albums and artists - press CTRL+A
    • No tracks, albums or artists - press CTRL+N
    • Every track except for the currently selected tracks - select EDIT, INVERT SELECTION
  5. Click to begin transferring the selected tracks to your m250/m500.

  1. Insert an SD expansion card into your device.
  2. Launch the Install Tool on your desktop computer: from the Windows Start menu, choose Programs, then Palm or Handspring, then Install Tool.
