APPLIE iPOD MP3 PLAYER
The easiest way to transfer music to your iPod is using iTunes.
- Connect your iPod
to your computer using the FireWire or USB cable.
- Notice that iTunes opens automatically
and transfers all
the songs and playlists in your music library to your iPod. The
icon representing your iPod in the Source list flashes red during
the update. Do not disconnect
your iPod while music is being transferred.
- After the transfer is complete, safely disconnect
your iPod by selecting your iPod in the Source
list, and then clicking the Eject
button in the lower-right corner of the iTunes window.

CREATIVE NOMAD JUKEBOX MP3 PLAYER
To transfer music from your Shared Folder to your NOMAD player
using Creative MediaSource:
- Click PC MUSIC LIBRARY
in the Source Window.
Locate your songs by selecting the relevant genre, artist, album
or playlist. Select the songs you
want to transfer to your NOMAD Jukebox 3.
- Click the NOMAD JUKEBOX 3
button in the transfer window. If the transfer window is not already
extended, click the Transfer
icon located at the bottom left of the Creative MediaSource organizer.
- When you are ready to transfer, just click the lower Transfer
button (arrow pointing from left to right). Alternatively, you
can drag and drop
the songs over.
- The Now transferring
window will then pop up, showing the transfer progress for each
song. If you want to stop further transfer, just select the songs
and hit delete.
This operation is only applicable to songs that have not been
transferred to the NOMAD Jukebox yet.
After the transfer, disconnect
your NOMAD player from your computer.

The Gateway MP3 Photo Jukebox was designed to be used with Windows
Media Player, so you will use this to manage your library and transfer
your music downloads to your player.
- Open Windows Media Player.

- Connected will
appear on your jukebox display, and the

scans the computer’s hard drives for digital audio files

- You can select tracks
within a specific category: Albums, Artists, Genres, Songs, and
Playlists. For example, if you wish to copy all tracks by a favorite
artist onto the player, click the Artists tab and then use any
of the techniques in Step 4 to select the desired tracks.

- Single track, album or artist - LEFT-CLICK the track, album

Before you can listen to MP3 files on your device, you'll
need to install a third-party MP3 player. There
are several MP3 players for the Palm OS platform, including:
Next, getting those MP3's into your device is easy:
- Insert an SD expansion card
into your device.
- Launch the Install Tool
on your desktop computer: from the Windows Start menu, choose
Programs, then Palm or Handspring, then Install Tool.
- Make sure the correct user name
is chosen from the pulldown menu at the top of the Install Tool
window.
- Drag and drop MP3 files
from your hard drive into the Install Tool window.
- You'll notice that the destination for the MP3 files will always
be "Secure Digital card." You
can install MP3 files only to an expansion card,
and not to the device's internal memory.
- Perform a HotSync
operation.
- Launch your third-party MP3 player
and open songs from your SD card.
Quick alternative:
If you happen to have a USB SD card reader, you can pop an SD card
into it, transfer MP3 files to the card, and then put the SD card
directly into your palmOne device. No need for the HotSync!
