Copying Your Favorite Movies to your iPod Video
The
steps below will outline how to transfer and watch the movies
you have downloaded on your iPod Video.

DOWNLOAD
AND EXTRACT 3GP CONVERTER

Click the

to your computer:

Once you have saved the installation file to your computer,
right-click on the ZIP file and select Open
With > Compressed
(zipped) Folders. Select Extract
all files on the left, and follow the steps
to extract the files to the folder of your choice. |

Navigate to the folder you extracted the
utility to in Step 1 above, and double-click on Setup.exe to
open the Configuration Manager (see
image below).
The Configuration Manager will open with the
default language set to Japanese. Select
your language of preference from the drop-down
menu and the options will automatically change (see image below).

Select Model: MP4, for iPod from
the list and click Apply (see
image below).

The Configuration Manager will close automatically, and the
conversion utility (see image below) will open (if it doesn't,
double-click 3GP Converter.exe to
open it).

With the utility open, select MPEG4
544x416/2000kbps from the drop-down menu (see image
below).
Click the Browse button
and navigate to the folder you would like to store the new
file in after conversion (the file which will be transferred
to your iPod)...then click OK.
Watch as your movie file is automatically converted to iPod
video format (see image below).

Open iTunes and select File > Import... from
the main menu. Navigate to the folder where your newly converted
file was saved and click Open.
Now, connect your iPod to your computer and iTunes will
automatically transfer your new video file to your iPod.
If your iPod was already connected, right click on your iPod
in the Source list
and choose Update.
NOTE: If iTunes
does not transfer the movie file, it may not be configured
properly. Select Edit > Preferences from
iTunes' main menu and click on the iPod tab.
Then, click on the Videos tab
and verify Automatically update
all videos is selected. |

You will find your movie by selecting
the Videos menu
on your iPod and then selecting Movies.
NOTE: If you
have downloaded any music videos or video Podcasts through
the iTunes Music Store, you will find them in the Videos > Music
Videos and Videos > Video
Podcasts menus respectively. |
