The splash
screen of the Ulead DVD MovieFactory 4 program will look similar
to the figure below.

Click on the Create Video DVD
button to start the DVD creation/burning process.
Select DVD-
Video or DVD+VR from the options that appear
to the right.
The Add/Edit Media window will look similar
to the figure below.

Click the Add
video files button (as shown below) to add
the movie you have downloaded.

Navigate to the folder where your movie file
is stored, select the movie
file and click Open.
The amount of space required and used by the movie will be
displayed at the bottom of the screen.
NOTE:
If you get a message that the file selected is not accessible,
Ulead may not recognize the file format. Click
here to download and install a video codec pack (keeping
all default options during install will be fine)...then go
back to the step above and add the file again.
NOTE:
If the movie is too large to fit on one DVD (4.7Gb), you will
need to either decrease the quality, or split up the video
into one or more discs. To split up the video, please refer
to step 3 below.
To
decrease the video quality, click the Settings
button in the toolbar at the bottom of the program.
There are
enhanced features you can modify/apply, however to burn the
movie as is to a DVD, no other options need to be modified.
Click the Next
button to proceed. In the next window you can apply different
background images and music for the intro screen, however
the defaults should suffice.
Click the Next
button to go to the Preview
screen where you can see how the movie will look once it is
burned.
Click the Next
button again to get to the start of the burning process. Place
a blank DVD
in your DVD writer (we recommend using DVD-R discs) and click
the Output
button (as shown below) to start burning the movie to DVD.

The burning process may take several hours,
depending on the speed of your computer and DVD burner...once
the burning is complete, you can drop the DVD in your DVD
player and watch the movie on your TV! |
